The quote etched into the sword:
"There are things you can't fight - acts of God. You see a hurricane coming, you get out of the way. But when you're in a Jaeger, you can finally fight the hurricane. You can win."
Raleigh Becket

Story:

Draven sighed as he stared at the unusual leather outfit Kosei had based off Draven's usual attire, it kind of reminded him of Kosei's own style, the whole leathery concept. Blue eyes narrowed as said dragon demon came stalking up with a crooked smile. Kosei was supposed to originally been Jaegers rider but the demon male had said he was needed to take care of Eytukan and Veil, who had accidentally got hurt out in the desert area of BVS Isle. Kosei still had to watch over them much to the displeasure of Draven who wanted to work with Leon, the chimera coated stallion and maybe have Kaida or Cielo practice with Neve who'd would be up the stallions butt through the training. Unfortunately for him, Cielo demanded Draven to enter the event in Kosei's place sense Jaeger seemed to respond better with hero-like beings, like Draven, himself.

Sighing, he shoved Kosei out of the changing room, causing the dragon-demon to snarl in anger before his insane laughter came as he walked away.
Draven frowned, once, he heard that laugh, he could barely stand the demon-like male. Tying his long hair up, he slowly got dressed in his hunting gear. Of course, Jaeger, was still a fresh and young stud who still needed a lot of training and discipline but he had enough to be able to enter this competition, thankfully. Strapping on the last strap, he walked outside, only to catch a sword from the dark skinned demon known as Akuhei crossed his arms, his bright red cat-like eyes stared coldly at Draven who began to frown as he strapped the sword to himself.

"Don't mess this up girly" Akuhei sneered! Turning, he soon started to walk away, he was the one sent to give Draven the sword, even though everyone knew Akuhei had a major dislike of the pink haired angel. Eyebrow twitching, he sighed, this was why he disliked Akuhei, the male couldn't even be civil enough to wish him luck, though in hind-sight, they should have just sent Akuhei with Jaeger to fight a dragon.
Well Draven hasn't done much, unlike Akuhei, who usually helps out with the disturbed nightmares. A chill went down his spine as he came through the portal and almost ran right into Jaeger, who wore his dragon tack with his dark warm eyes staring down at the [fallen] pink haired angel.
Okay, least he wasn't dealing with those damned nightmares, they never liked to listen to Draven much.

Climbing onto the thick saddle, he breathed in, usually the demon or other beings fought angry and aggressive dragons, this time it would be him. He frowned at the bracelet on his wrist.
'Damn it, why can't I just use my powers for this', he thought, almost frowning, instead he just smiled as Jaeger began moving.
Cielo walked along side them for the most part, making sure Draven knew to be on his guard and ONLY using his powers if he and Jaeger were minutes away from death.

The pink haired man sighed, running his bare fingers through his hair, he looked at the other riders who would be in this hunt, why the hell did he have natural pink hair and most/all didn't? That was right, someone cursed him before he was bo-, Jaeger immediately bucked once, this was to grab Draven's attention, who's blue eyes locked onto the serious brown eyes of his own companion.

"What, I never did this before" the man muttered, shivering at the thought of what Akuhei would do if he did make a mistake, it wasn't that Akuhei was warning him to win but warning him not to get himself and Jaeger killed or else the demon would hurt Draven, himself.

Soon the event started and the two were off on their own, Draven didn't know why none of the others wanted to come with him but he had a feeling it was because they didn't like the thought of a very heavy and very sharp teethed creature eating them. A snort left Jaeger who was rushing through the forest, keeping his eyes open as he ducked and jumped the obstacles he came a crossed, sometimes he'd stumble thanks to the metal shoes on his feet that would nick rocks or the logs and even would nick pieces of branches on the ground.

Jaeger snorted again when Draven didn't come out of his thoughts, so in order to get his attention, Jaeger jumped up and Draven was smacked in the fact by a thin branch. Immediately grabbing onto the stallion's thick mane, Draven glared down at the horse who was nickering with amusement.
Sniffing the air, Draven scrunched his nose up. That smells, it was something between toxic and sea water. Jaeger, immediately began to slow down, his ears swiveling as he approached the area further. Pulling the sword from its holster, Draven kept his guard up, he'd deal with Jaeger's punishment later.
Minutes passed and Draven's patience was ticking away as he looked around, Jaegers own eyes had not even strayed from what was in front of himself. Stopping at the edge of a beach looking area, they spotted a bridge, looking down at Jaeger, he nodded and the large stallion began moving forward, tense and cautious. Something moved through the darkening water before a large creature beached itself and stood. It looked like a dragon, obviously, it was, but the kind of dragon was unknown to Draven who racked his brain for any idea's on what it could be. The dragon seemed to have 3 dark blue eyes, the inside of its mouth where different shades of blue and the sharp teeth it had where completely white.
Along its neck and on its arms were glowing dots and hanging from behind the finned jaws were...... what appeared to be feelers or something, what was that? Then spinal fins on both its head and back/neck had been the first thing that Draven had spotted when the dragon pulled itself onto land.

Sighing, Draven, readied his sword as Jaeger reared, their eyes turning dark, a sign that they were not backing down right now.
The dragon immitated sparks from the glowing bulbs that hung from behind the dragons jaws as it readied its long claws. Jaeger would keep watch over the tail and the dragons claws while Draven handled the rest.
This was not going to be easy or fun, especially if that dragon jumped back into the water not far away.

Draven aimed for the sparking orbs hanging from the jaw area, sense the electrical attacks the dragon gives off comes from there. Ducking the swing of the dragons tail, Draven huffed as he sat straight and swung at appendage that attached from the jaw area to the orbs when said dragon lowered its head low enough while trying to attack.
The time was slowly vanishing and it was almost afternoon, this irritated Draven a bit, this dragon was obviously a water born dragon, if that water rose with the rain, Draven and Jaeger would be in a lot of trouble. Sighing, Draven removed the bracelet from his waist, the dragon was able to corner Jaeger with his claws acted as one of the walls, the dragons body also acted as one as well, his claws had been embedded into a large tree that acted as the last wall. Draven's sword was still clutched tightly in his grip, but the rest of his body was covered in electrical burns, even parts of Jaegers armor had electrical burn scortches. The dragon also had got both Draven and Jaeger with its claws, thankfully it hadn't been a fatal hit, just a "nick". Draven attached the bracelet to the saddle horn before standing up from Jaeger's saddle. The stallion snorted and stamped his hooves into the ground in irritation and anger.
Using his telekinesis, he was able to move a boulder in between Him and the dragon who almost just ate him. Jaeger stood his ground as Draven tried to speak with the dragon telepathically, the only problem was this dragon was not willing to relent to the two unless they did some major damage to the dragon, itself, even though it had gashes and a few good wounds from its earlier fight.
Sighing, Draven used another boulder to shove the dragon back a bit, enough for Jaeger to slip between the claws and the tree. Leaping off the saddle, Draven swung his sword, cutting one of the moving bulb attached appendages. Draven ignored the shocking sensation that rushed through his body as he swung it and held it against the dripping wet dragon, who had been using the water as ways to trick Draven and Jaeger.
As the appendage grew back, the dragon roared out in pain before glaring down at Draven who didn't move from his spot on the ground.
The dragon's jaws opened before it began lowering down onto its stomach. Blinking, Draven was confused, the electrical current didn't effect the dragon that much from what he could tell, tossing the withering appendage away, he picked up the sword and stared at it.
Eye twitching he realized it was one of Akuhei's many poisoned dipped swords. The poison used on this sword wasn't exactly poison though the symptoms it gives does give the wounded being the same feeling as poison. This would just relax the dragon until it couldn't move, though obviously it took a lot of wounds for it to take effect, the fact he didn't exactly get deep enough with most of those gashes, etc, the last strike, which went through the appendage, was a direct way into the dragons blood stream.

*You may continue to my den to retrieve your prize, but do NOT think this is over* came the dragons telepathic message to Draven who mounted Jaeger once more.

"I look forward to our next battle", Draven mused! Turning to the direction of the bridge, he urged Jaeger on..... Yup, Draven would not be hearing the end of this once the others see him and Jaegers wounded state. Thankfully for Jaeger, Draven took most of the wounds, unfortunately for the fallen angel, Jaeger didn't get that hurt.
